A fine win for the Buzzards against a well-organised Marlow side, coming back after the interval to move into round 3 of the T2 plate.
The girls, playing in blue for the first time, had the best of the opening 20 minutes, putting together one flowing attack after another, but conceded against the run of play. Ellie pulled one back but Marlow went ahead again on the stroke of half time.
But two second half goals without reply won it for Ealing, the first a nonchalant finish from Amelia after good work from Jess, who also got Ealing’s winner. Resolute defending from POTM Nalini, incredible ball skills from Maria and a couple of great saves from Daya ensured the Buzzards held off a succession of Marlow attacks to take the win.
